From Fordham to ucluelet.

A collection of images from the collaboration between Gudrun Filipska in the Fenlands Uk and Carly Butler in Ucluelet, Canada.  The collaboration began as a postal correspondence between Filipska and Butler: the works include the development of an archive of documentation which reflects each artists traversal of their respective territories, an exchange of Seawater and soil and various performance works. Filipska and Butler are further developing their collaboration through a long distance digital walking project called 'S' after the first transatlantic wireless signal sent from the Uk to Newfoundland by Guglielmo Marconi in 1901.
